A proud tradition of community contribution

Strengthening the community since 1979

For more than 40 years, the Tuggeranong Valley has been the heart of Vikings, and we are dedicated to supporting and growing our local community by creating opportunities, connection and belonging.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for sport, recreation, and hospitality for our members and the wider community, while encouraging social interaction and building a sense of community. Our values have shaped the way we engage with the community, fostering participation, development and inclusion.

How we give back

  • SPORT: Supporting 50 affiliated sporting clubs and over 8,000 athletes each year through funding, facilities, and development pathways.

  • EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT: Investing in the future through scholarships, grants, and the Vikings Cadet Program, helping young people build skills and careers.

  • COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Contributing over $2 million annually to local programs that strengthen wellbeing and connection.

  • EMPLOYMENT AND LOCAL IMPACT: Employing over 340 people across the ACT and NSW and supporting local suppliers, trades, and producers.

  • RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE: Leading the way in harm minimisation through Play Within Your Limits and Ask for Andy, and driving sustainability through energy and water initiatives.
