About Tuggeranong Netball Association

Tuggeranong Netball Association (TNA) is situated at Were Street, Calwell. The Association boasts a modern complex featuring eight recently upgraded hard courts alongside nine grass courts. These facilities are heavily utilised throughout the Winter and Summer Competitions, with most of the courts in use all day on Saturdays.

Representative Programs

TNA runs highly successful Junior and Senior Representative programs. The foundation of these programs is a strong commitment to fostering a fun and safe sporting environment, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels.

Development Opportunities

The association prioritises the development of:

  • coaches

  • umpires

  • administrators.

By focusing on building their skills, TNA ensures that athletes have the support and expertise required to reach their full potential.

Community and Participation

New players and teams are always encouraged to join. TNA’s primary purpose is to offer an enjoyable team sport experience to as many participants as possible, promoting inclusivity and community spirit within the sport.

How do I join your Club?

TNA run a winter competition and a summer competition and are looking to develop midweek competitions including walking netball.  The winter begins in March and is played at the Calwell courts each Saturday during the season. Clubs and schools begin their registration process around February.  The summer competition runs for approximately 10 weeks, during the last school term, Wednesday nights is for NSG, juniors and Inters, Monday nights for seniors and mixed competitions.

TNA also run a winter and summer NSG NET program for 4-8 year olds.  This is a term based program to introduce our grass root players to netball. The program is skill-based and designed to introduce the skills of netball and to for the participants to have lots of fun in the process.

Membership Details

Player Categories:

  • NSG 4-8 year old skill based term program both winter and summer.

  • Years 2 to 6.

  • Intermediates: Years 7 to 9.

  • Cadets: Years 10 to 12; and

  • Seniors is open to all players aged fifteen and above.

Cost: Fees may vary between clubs and state body fees including player insurance costs.  For the current fee structure please contact the committee at office@tuggeranongnetball.com.au.

Terms & Conditions: Be prepared to help out on rosters and have fun.
